A campervan/caravan ticket must be purchased in advance to allow access into the campervan/caravan area. Each person entering this area must also be a weekend Festival ticket holder. Caravans, tented vehicles and campervans will be admitted to a special secure field and will be directed through a separate entrance when arriving on site.

Do I need a special ticket for the campervan/caravan fields?
Yes. Campervan/caravan tickets to park in these fields are available for an additional fee of R100, and can be purchased at the same time as your Festival ticket. See the Tickets page for details. 1 ticket per campervan/caravan regardless of the quantity of people accommodated in each caravan/campervan.

Does every person staying in our campervan/caravan need a Festival ticket?
Yes. No one will be allowed into the campervan/caravan fields without a weekend Festival ticket.

What counts as suitable fitted facilities in a camper/caravan?
Your campervan/caravan MUST have purpose-built fitted sleeping facilities. Any converted vehicles must clearly be live-in vehicles. This does not mean simply a van with a piece of foam cut to size for a bed, and a bucket for washing! 4×4’s with fitted rooftop tents are acceptable.
A team of campsite staff and security staff will check that campervans and caravans coming into these fields have bona fide living accommodation. No other vehicles will be let onto these fields under any circumstances – not even late replacement vehicles in the case of a breakdown – sorry.

Will people be allowed a car with their campervan?
Yes, as long as the vehicle in question is connected safely via a tow bar at all times to the caravan in question.

Will people be allowed to pitch tents and place awnings by their campervans etc?
Yes, as long as it does not exceed 1 tent per campervan, caravan or vehicle with roof top tent.
