Exactly a year ago RTD was invited to go and experience one of the biggest and most renowned festivals in Europe, the Nyon Paleo Music Festival. And while our team got to see everything from backstage to international artists to huge productions and event management, we also got to learn a bit from the guys who, well, do it best! Once we had enjoyed their amazing festival they then came to enjoy ours and what transpired is truely amazing! This year Nyon Paleo’s world stage is hosting 13 South African Acts including Freshlyground, 340ml, EJ von Lyrik and Hugh Masekela.
Last year Walking the Daisies and Cycle to Daisies were two of the most successful and exciting innitiatives of the festival. 2010 already sees hordes of people begging to be included in this years campaign! So for those of you who have already entered your details, never fear, nothing is sold out! In fact, we havent even launched the campaign yet, so there are plenty of places left for those chomping at the bit to get on the list. Right now we are getting our ducks in a row to make sure, like everything else this year, its bigger, better, more entertaining and more exciting for all involved!
For those of you who snatched up the early bird special, good on you! Unfortunately all Early Bird Tickets are officially SOLD OUT!! Full Festival Tickets are now available. Dont leave it too late and miss out again!

We want to know who you want to see at Rocking the Daisies and Rocking the Gardens.
Give us your Top 5 SA Bands and you could not only see your favourite bands live but you could win full weekend tickets!
Big ups to nogapsbetween for winning the UCT Launch Your Band competition and walking away with a slot at Daisies in their back pockets. This quartet of musos with an accumulative age of no more than 64 (that’s 16 years old a pop for those of you feeling a bit confused) blew everyone away at the finals held at Quay 4 with their mature husky blues vibe mixed with cheeky reggae riffs and playful attitudes. We are looking very forward to seeing these boys rock out on the main stage!
Thank you to everyone who was involved in Sowing the Seeds this Saturday. The atmosphere brought the venue to life and everyone who came enjoyed a day of dancing; drinking; eating and being merry. A big shout out to Loaded 100% Smoothies, Nokia, Windhoek Draught and Ray Ban as well as Food and Trees for Africa. We at Complete Events have officially hit Daisy fever and cant wait to bring SA’s favourite music and lifestyle festival!! Read More

After months and months of grafting it’s really exciting to see some of our hard work starting to pay off. Most noticeably is the recent commendable review we received from online gurus Quirk emarketing. The GottAquirk blog has long been a portal that we here at Rocking the Daisies regularly follow and low and behold seeing ourselves, and this very website you’re busy reading, being the topic of conversation left us a little bashful! Nevertheless we are incredibly thrilled by the feedback and want to give extra legendary cyber high-fives to our awesome development and design team, you guys rock!

As RTD strives to improve each year we are continuously looking to learn some lessons from the biggest and the best. This year we have decided to send 2 members of our team to go and check out one of the world’s best known and revered festivals, Glastonbury.
They will be keeping their eyes and ears wide open, when not chilling backstage with the world’s top bands. Tough job we know. We are very eager to see what we can learn from this exciting festival and to see what new ideas our team brings back that we can incorporate into RTD.
We are very excited to announce that the RTD team have been invited by the organisers of the Nyon Paleo Music Festival in Switzerland to come and enjoy the event from 21 – 26 July. The festival, which has been around for 35 years, has become one of Switzerland’s cultural relics and Europe’s most important musical events. Read More
